3 things you should never postpone
I’ve been educating myself a lot about task management since I started freelancing almost 4 years ago, in order to become more productive.
I want to get more important tasks done each week and make more progress every day.
My Calendar has been (and still is) very agile and I always look for ways to optimize my schedule even more.
I’ve learned that most things can be postponed a day or two, without affecting the end result, but these are the 3 things I’ve found that I should never postpone to the next day:
1️⃣ Exercise
Taking care of your body is a long-term (AND short-term) investment that we often forget.
I think the long-term effect is self-explanatory but even in the short term, increasing your pulse and challenging your muscles can help improve both your focus, your ability to take in new knowledge, and your overall mood.
I try to work out 6 times a week and if you are a parent reading this, you might think that it’s easy for me to say as a freelancer without kids, but it doesn’t have to be difficult.
(I do 8 minutes of intense home workouts each morning. It’s short enough to not postpone it and long enough to make a positive impact on my day.)
