Did you know that you can set a marker and write a little note, above the timeline in Premiere Pro?

How to change markers in Premiere Pro

The way you do this is by placing the playhead anywhere in the timeline where you want to set a marker and then clicking M.

This will create a marker above your timeline unless you have a clip selected because then it will create a marker on that specific clip.

After you have created your marker, right-click on the marker and click edit marker. Here you can write a note at the top and in order to see that note in your timeline, increase the duration underneath the note. Color code the marker if you want and then click OK.

Now, you can just drag the edge of this marker or note to adjust the length and the middle to adjust the position.

If you want to delete a marker, I made a separate one-minute tutorial about that here!

With that said, thanks for reading, keep learning, and have a great day! ☀️
