How to move animation to another clip

If you have a clip with keyframes in After Effects and you want to replace that clip but keep the exact keyframe values, this is how you can do it:

Select the clip in the timeline, go to the Project window and then hold down the opt-key (or alt on PC) and then drag and drop the new clip on top of the layer you want to replace.

Now, the clip is replaced but the keyframes stay intact.
