How to move keyframes with the keyboard
What’s a quick way to move keyframes precisely in Premiere Pro?
Well, let me tell you!
If you click “opt + cmd + K” (or “ctrl + alt + K” on PC), you will open the Keyboard Shortcuts window. Here, search for “Move keyframe”.
Now, when you click next to a command until the background turns black, you can type in a shortcut for that specific command.
I have “cmd + 3” to move the keyframe one frame back and “cmd + 4” to move the keyframe one frame forward.
Then, I have “cmd + 2” to move it 10 frames back and “cmd + 5” to move it 10 frames forward.
(This will make sense for the muscle memory due to the position of these keys on the keyboard.)
Click “OK” to save and there you go!
